A&C Home Care Ltd we value our employees and believe they are our greatest asset.  We employ a diverse workforce and recognise that each member of staff has  different skills, knowledge and experience to bring to the team.

Our staff team consists of management, a supervisor and carers.

We are proud to employ staff who share casual and guaranteed hours (after successful completion of probation period).

All staff are required to work varied shifts on a rota basis that include both early, evening and alternate weekend shifts.

All staff are required to have access to their own transport with valid MOT Tax and insurance. That includes “business use” so that they can travel to multiple work places and carry passengers.

No experienced required as full training will be provided.

At A&C Home Care we have a robust recruitment policy, and we are proud to employ carers who share our vision and ethos. All staff are required to have a enhanced DBS disclosure, details of their full employment history and satisfactory references.

A&C Home care recognises its responsibility to ensure that staff are afforded appropriate training and development throughout their employment.  This development begins when a new employee joins.

  • Induction – We offer mandatory face to face and online theory-based training. Our aim is to support and develop employees in their role so that they feel confident to undertake the responsibilities placed upon them and can contribute to the success of the organisation.
  • Training and supervision – During the probation period we support employees by delivering shadow training, by carrying out spot checks and having regular supervisions and probation reviews. Once probation is complete, the employee will continue to be supported with spot checks and supervisions. Any identified personal development or training needs will be actioned within the time frame specified.
  • Personal development – We offer a progressive training and development scheme to enable staff to develop relevant skills and acquire knowledge to underpin their current role and career aspirations. This includes supporting employees to achieve recognised qualifications in health & social care after successful completion of probation.

We support staff through their probation period and have bi-monthly supervisions, annual appraisals and bi-monthly team meetings. All staff are encouraged to participate as part of their role and to focus of career development.

We hold staff recognition awards throughout the year and reward staff who hold 100% attendance for 12 months.
